Thanks for contributing to the discussion! You point out that choice countries have another choice for waste disposal: they can export waste for recycling or dumping elsewhere. In some cases this choice makes economic sense (The Chinese can reuse scrap metal or electronic parts better than we can) but in many cases these countries get more than they bargained for. They get disgusting and harmful medical waste or they may receive hazardous chemicals along with the electronic waste.

Dear Gerald,
Trash is a huge problem in the world (Is this a common sense?). Some newspapers are publishing articles about that and some of them has been putting in highlight this problem. This year, in fact, occurred a strange and curious event in Brazil: english trash was sent to us. Is this an alert about the circularization of trash? Since that event I`ve been thinking a little bit more about this issue. Because of that I would like to contribute with this link: http://towardfreedom.com/home/content/view/1640/1/
Is an article about the incident that I`ve just mentioned. Yes, waste is a problem and the “Globalization of a Garbage” too.

I`ve been following your podcast and for sure there are many others english`s podcast on internet. Why I decided to listen your podcast? First of all, the subject are always interesting and your comments help a lot to think about important issues; second, is for adults, i.e., there isn`t stupid jokes or a podcaster trying to be funny; third, is instructive.
